You are looking at the face of our precious baby boy!! He did such a nice job posing for the camera, and he definitely did not mind the attention. Our little boy was moving all over the place, and we even got to see him yawn. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. We are truly blessed, and thank God everyday for this wonderful gift.

Baby Bump
Over the Thanksgiving Day weekend, we were lucky enough to have Marianne take a few photos showing off the growing "baby bump." Take a look!

More Preparation for Baby!!
Today we drove up to Oshkosh to check out a Subaru dealership. We had been considering the new Outback to replace our older Subaru. We really just wanted to learn more, but the dealer made us an offer on our old Subaru and then dropped the price on the new one to a point where no was not an option. It was hard to say goodbye to the little old guy and some of us got a little emotional, but there will be much more room in the new Outback for our expanding family. Here is a photo of our old subaru as we were pulling away from the dealer:

On the right hand side of the screen you will see a poll for Baby Graham's gender. We will be finding out on December 20th, so be sure to voice your opinion before then. Also feel free to post a comment if you wish to make your prediction known to everyone. But no matter what you must vote using the poll in the right hand column.
My vote is a Boy

Week 9 Ultrasound

Now, Karissa is 11 weeks and 3 days pregnant, so this ultrasound photo is a bit outdated. The IVF Clinic's ultrasound machine took much better photos, but you still see how much baby has grown. By now baby has grown so much more, and is looking more and more like mom and dad. At the 9 week appointment baby's heart rate was incredibly strong, and baby was growing at a perfect pace. Our next appointment will be November 17th where we will be able to hear the heartbeat for the first time. We are so excited!!
Crib and Baby furniture
I have been wanting to make another post to keep everyone up to date. A few weeks ago Karissa and I built the Crib we had purchased. Now I say we both built it, but really it was all me. Here are a couple of pictures of the final outcome. You will have to use your imagination and picture some bedding in the empty crib. Once we find out the gender of our new best friend we will post pictures of the bedding as well.

On that first picture you will also see some awesome artwork we picked up last summer at an art show in Cambridge.
Karissa got an antique dresser with an attached mirror from her great aunt over a year ago, and this last weekend we started stripping the paint off. Here are some pictures of our progress so far. Once this is finished and up in the babies room we will post another picture.

HEARTBEAT!!!!!
1st official post

Welcome to the grand opening of our wonderful blog!
As many of you know Karissa and I recently went through our first IVF cycle. During this cycle Karissa produced loads of eggs and through the magic of science the doctors were able to combine the two very important ingredients. We were able to get three high quality embryos. Rather than injecting two embryos the doctors recommended only one due to Karissa's risk of reaching "Ovarian Hyper Stimulation Syndrome." Here is a picture of our beautiful bundle of joy!!
