Be sure to vote!!

On the right hand side of the screen you will see a poll for Baby Graham's gender. We will be finding out on December 20th, so be sure to voice your opinion before then. Also feel free to post a comment if you wish to make your prediction known to everyone. But no matter what you must vote using the poll in the right hand column.

My vote is a Boy
Karissa's is a Girl

The Most Amazing Sound

Today was unbelievable. We had an appointment to hear our sweet little ones heart beat. At first it took a little while to track baby down, but once we did baby's heart was beating perfectly. Baby Graham's heart beat was humming along at 165 beats per minute, which is right where it should be. I was hoping to get an ultrasound so I could post a new picture, but that wasn't the case. Instead I will post a picture of big brother-to-be in his Halloween costume. Ryan and Marianne found this costume and gave it to us this last weekend on our trip up there. It will be Teddy's outfit next year for baby's first trick or treating.
If you can not tell, He's a little Yellow Submarine!!

Week 9 Ultrasound

Now, Karissa is 11 weeks and 3 days pregnant, so this ultrasound photo is a bit outdated. The IVF Clinic's ultrasound machine took much better photos, but you still see how much baby has grown. By now baby has grown so much more, and is looking more and more like mom and dad. At the 9 week appointment baby's heart rate was incredibly strong, and baby was growing at a perfect pace. Our next appointment will be November 17th where we will be able to hear the heartbeat for the first time. We are so excited!!

Crib and Baby furniture

I have been wanting to make another post to keep everyone up to date. A few weeks ago Karissa and I built the Crib we had purchased. Now I say we both built it, but really it was all me. Here are a couple of pictures of the final outcome. You will have to use your imagination and picture some bedding in the empty crib. Once we find out the gender of our new best friend we will post pictures of the bedding as well.

On that first picture you will also see some awesome artwork we picked up last summer at an art show in Cambridge.

Karissa got an antique dresser with an attached mirror from her great aunt over a year ago, and this last weekend we started stripping the paint off. Here are some pictures of our progress so far. Once this is finished and up in the babies room we will post another picture.
